In this course the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ is considered in the
light of archaeological findings, and of early church and Roman writings.
JESUS 502 A JESUS - HIS LIFE, TEACHINGS
AND MIRACLES
Three hours
The life of Christ is seen through the eyes of the Synoptic Gospel writers.
His parables were masterpieces of literature. His miracles pointed unerringly
to the fact of His deity.
JESUS 502 B JESUS - HIS PARABLES
Three hours
This course goes beyond 502A with a more detailed examination of the
parables of Christ in their setting. Special consideration is given to the
spiritual applications of these masterpieces.
JESUS 503 JESUS IN PROPHECY AND FULFILMENT

The Dead Sea Scroll community looked for a number of Messiahs, and the
fulfillments are seen in Jesus. There are many Old Testament Messianic
prophecies - some yet to be fulfilled.
JESUS 504 JESUS THE MASTER TEACHER
Three hours
The methods of teaching utilized by Jesus are examined - e.g. His approach
to discipline, and His use of questions. Teachers and counselors can still
learn from His unsurpassed wisdom.

THE MASTER COUNSELOR

Surprisingly little has been written specifically about Christ as the Master
Counselor. This offering analyzes some of His methodology, and its application
for Christian counselors today.

THE MASTER PREACHER

A nation repented at Jonah’s preaching, but Jesus' preaching has
transcended national, racial, cultural and time barriers. Many aspects are
considered, learning from the Great Preacher Himself.

AND DEATH OF JESUS CHRIST

The trial of Christ was the greatest travesty of justice ever perpetrated,
but we see that the plan of God went beyond the evil machinations of man.
JESUS 508 THE RESURRECTION
AND ASCENSION OF JESUS CHRIST
Three hours
The evidences for the resurrection of Christ are significant. Jesus was
physically raised from the dead, with dramatic implications for His
followers.
JESUS 509-511 JESUS: THE GREATEST OF ALL MEN -

The unique qualities of Christ are considered, recognizing His superiority
to great men of the Bible such as Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Isaiah and
Jonah.
