THS 502 SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY

This is similar to THS 501, but prior undergraduate study is necessary.
THS 503 THEOLOGY PROPER
Three hours
The Person of God, His essential Being and Attributes, and His personal
relationships with humans.
THS 504 CHRISTOLOGY
Three hours
This course considers the Person and Work of Christ: His deity, sinless
humanity, and atonement.
THS 505 PNEUMATOLOGY
Three hours
This course considers the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit, as recorded in
both Testaments.
THS 506 - 507 SOTERIOLOGY I & 11
2 x Three hours
Salvation, election, propitiation, atonement, redemption, justification, and
believer's security.
THS 508 ANGELOLOGY AND ANTHROPOLOGY
Three hours
Angels and Satan; creation and the fall of man, his nature and destiny; sin,
and God's remedy.
THS 509 ECCLESIOLOGY:
The church's origin, mission, and destiny.

THS 510 ESCHATOLOGY
Three hours
Prophecy is considered relating to Israel, the nations, the church, the end
times, and the eternal state.
THS 511 CONTEMPORARY THEOLOGY
Three hours
(Involving some directed study)
A critique of 20th Century theologians such as Barth, Brunner, Bultman,
Tillich, Pannenberg.
THS 512 BIBLIOLOGY
Three hours

The Bible: its authority, historicity, literary phenomena and God's special
revelation to man.
THS 513 SPIRITUAL LIFE
Three hours
The nature of the spiritual life, and relevant Biblical principles related
to Christian maturity.
THS 514 THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE OF PRAYER
Three hours
The enrichment of spiritual life and the equipping of others for the
ministry of prayer.
